Mowani Mountain Camp - Damaraland

Just east of the ancient Twyfelfontein rock art site, the desert elephants and one of the most beautiful sunsets in Namibia, Mowani Mountain Camp offers travellers natural beauty and the luxury of Zen-like simplicity. Travellers are accommodated in eight standard tents, four view tents overlooking Damaraland plains, a luxury room or a remarkably beautiful suite. The emphasis is on comfort and exceptional service. But the true luxury lies in the freedom of the plains below.

A herd of springbok roam on the plan below Mowani. Further afield, in the Huab River, desert elephants can be seen as they emerge from the arid landscape in search of water. And amongst the mountains to the east, the remains of an ancient settlement and the rock art of its inhabitants give a glimpse of prehistoric luxury and comfort.

There are few destinations that can rival the comfort of Mowani and the beauty of Damaraland.
